Theodosius was born in Vryheid in 1889.

He was farming at Outspan Farm near Salisbury when he fell ill. His father had petitioned the Government for a railway ticket for his “four sons” who were in Rhodesia in order to have them vote in the referendum in 1909, he must have been one of these sons.

He was ill for 4 days in the Salisbury Hospital before he succumbed to malaria on 22 May 1909.
